At a Twitter DoulaParty about a week ago, I heard about some informative YouTube videos for doulas and childbirth educators recorded by Janice Banther. There are 13 videos so far on Janice’s YouTube channel, ranging in length from 2-11 minutes in length. Learn some tricks to getting doctors to sign off on your evaluations, how to schedule doula clients, and how to help clients during birth in a variety of situations.

Darline Turner, a friend of mine in Austin, has a wonderful resource for expectant women who are on bed rest. A mama herself who experienced high-risk pregnancies, Darline has taken her professional wisdom of health and fitness and created an exercise video especially for women on bed rest. In addition, she has numerous articles, podcasts, and resources on her Mamas on Bedrest & Beyond website.

As much as I use my Outlook calendar and love my iPhone to track my appointments and important dates, there’s something about using a paper-based planner that just works well for me.
About a year ago, I found a great website called Productive Flourishing that’s run by Charlie Gilkey. He writes great articles about time management and getting organized, but what I really love is that he offers, for FREE, great printable planning calendars. And, he updates them each month. If you subscribe to his newsletter, you’ll be invited to visit his “secret lab”, where you have access to the month’s planners.
